Berthold Leibinger
Zukunftspreis
Together with the Innovationspreis the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung also awards the Berthold Leibinger Zukunftspreis. This awards someone for an outstanding milestone in scientific or industrial research using Laserlicht. The prize is worth €50,000.
Nominations
It is not possible to apply for the Zukunftspreis. In addition to former jurors and award winners, nominations can be submitted by scientific organizations and professional associations worldwide with a focus on lasers or photonics. Please submit nominations by e-mail to sven.ederer@leibinger-stiftung.de.

Nominations
Nominations can be submitted by e-mail to sven.ederer@leibinger-stiftung.de until November 1, 2024. Nominations will of course be treated confidentially.
Expert Survey
The nominations submitted are then processed. Suitable experts in the respective field are interviewed for this purpose.
Jury Session
On February 14th, 2025 the Jury will choose a prize winner. The winner will be informed afterwards.
Award Ceremony
On June 20th, 2025 the winner is awarded togehter with the winners and finalists of the Innovationspreis.
Travel Expenses
Travel expenses to attend the jury session as well as the award ceremony will be reimbiursed by the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung.

The jury is made up of independent jurors who select the winners of the Innovationspreis and the Zukunftspreis.
