Funding Activities
situations with the aim of helping them forge their own paths in life. We support institutions that help traumatized, neglected and abused children and adolescents from unstable families. Another focus of our work is to improve the services available to deafblind and blind adolescents in the educational system and during their professional training.
There are many barriers that keep families with children who have severe physical and cognitive disabilities from participating in public life. The first stumbling block is “mobility”. We support these families by paying for the conversion of their vehicles to make them wheelchair accessible.
Stiftung taubblind leben
We signed a 10-year funding agreement with the Stiftung taubblind leben to significantly improve the lives of the about 10,000 deafblind people living in Germany today.
Mobil mit Behinderung e. V.
The association Mobil mit Behinderung e.V. helps families purchase wheelchair accessible vehicles to give them back mobility and thereby the ability to take part in public life with their children.
Nikolauspflege
The Nikolauspflege provides long-term developmental support for children who are blind, deafblind or have vision loss.
